i need to adjust my clutch so i went to the dealership and the service advisor said that my model coudnt be adjusted and said that it adjusts itslef. i thought that my 99 gs-t could be ajdusted? also the lights that turn on in my dash keep blinking for signaling that i have a bad alternator, however when i got the alternator checked they said it was fine, ### can be the problem for this? thanks guys for all your help.:thumb:

You can adjust your clutch rod under the pedal. Why do you say you need to adjust your clutch? Technically you cant adjust your clutch, just the engagement and disengagement.

For the alternator, theres a relay down by your BCS under your intake connected to the frame rail. That relay may need replaced.

It should be ... under your intake pipe mounted on the frame rail and between the radiator and the tranny mount.

thanks i found the relay, and the reason i asked about the clutch adjustment is becouse it is kinds hard to get into gear, my pops said i might have to get my clutch adjusted or as you said the engagment and disengagment points.

Adjust that rod behind your clutch pedal. You loosen that nut then twist the rod to adjust the engagement point of the clutch.

If its hard to get into gear, and the engagement point of your clutch is really low, thread the rod into the cylinder (twist it clockwise)

Also make sure you have plenty of clutch fluid and its not low.

Also make sure you dont adjust too much, its more sensitive than you think. Take it for a drive after every small adjustment. I adjusted mine too much in one sitting, took it for a drive and it was way way off. To make things worse, after limping home i couldnt adjust the rod by hand anymore. :|
