Clutch accumulator

I have a 1g with a Quartermaster twin disk and want to run the 2g clutch accumulator. I am having a hard time finding this part, is there a different name it goes by, or better yet does anyone have a part number. It would be great to get a new one from AutoZone or any local auto part dealer.

Why do you want one? It makes the engagement softer. Does that defeat the purpose of of a twin-disk?

It makes the engagement window larger on the pedal but still the clutch operates the same. Big improvement.

I have one but its bracket has been cut and looks like crap.

Grind it down, and paint it with VHT flameproof. Just be sure to bake it as per directions.

Lots of 2G guys remove theirs when they upgrade to an aftermarket clutch line. Try posting a WTB ad.

Black94DSM, I'm curious what benefit you noticed after adding it? Most say that engagement and pedal feel are improved after removing it.

when we remove the accumulator its usually if we are running a 2600 or 2900 it helps better for that, but if we have a twin disk we run the accumulator as per what was stated before about the pedal feel much improved
