Just a stupid and quick question but can't seem to find answer anywhere. On the gauge cluster for 95-99 Eclipse, there is a meter for oil with H and L. What does the H and L stand for, is it high or low in temperature, or high or low in level of oil?

High and low pressure. It's mostly for entertainment, though, much like the stock boost gauge. A common issue on most 2g's is the oil pressure according to the gauge drops to zero at idle after driving for a while. It's usually nothing to worry about, but when I first got my car, I got very nervous about it. Plenty of others have experienced the same feeling.
