Hello I got a 1997 eclipse gst that I bought it 2 weeks ago. The guage cluster lights were working coming home, but now only the needle lights up and not the whole guage cluster. All my lights work except part of the guage cluster. I've checked all the fuses and they are good. I'm going to be checking the dimmer switch later as well. Looking to get some input or a good start to check for. Here are some pics.

Looks like you have the aftermarket indiglo faces. From what i can see the actual lights in the cluster are working , but the faces aren't lighting up. Those faces aren't transparent like the oem ones You need to look for the wiring for the gauge faces, and the converter box and check that out.

It's the converter box or inverter. A local shop who's good with this stuff said that the power inverter goes often with these type of guages. Where is the power inverter located? I can't find it .

No one will be able to tell you where it is located, that is an aftermarket part and it could be installed anywhere. You will need to drop the panel below the steering column and look for it. It will be a little square black box with wires coming out of it.

Okay so I took the panel under the steering Column but couldn't see anything like that. I took pics , do any of you see it?

The box in the upper right corner is what you are looking for. Next step would be to remove the surround around the gauges and see where the wires lead to.

I removed the guage cluster and found a wire that's not connecting to anything.[DOUBLEPOST=1410481740][/DOUBLEPOST]

I found the inverter box I think? Here you go.

There should also be a dimmer for them somewhere. That plug that isn't hooked to anything appears to be the one for the dimmer.
