wipers not working properly

hey, for a while now my wipers have had an issue. Whenever i put it on the "timed" setting it just works as if it were on the slow setting. The slow and the fast settings both work fine, but whenever i put it in the timed setting and try to adjust the time in b/w wiping it just stays the same as the slow setting with no pauses. What could cause this?

Probably a worn-out switch. Grab one off an Avenger.
