Cloyes Hydraulic Tensioner

hi. i just purchased a hydraulic tensioner from slowboy racing. It says mitsubishi oem on the website buy i was sent a cloyes one. they look identical but i just wanted to make sure. does cloyes make the oem mitsu hydraulic tensioners? they mitsu one has an E stamped on it and the cloyes one has a F. any idea?

Anyhow I hope you didnt pay SBR $87 for an aftermarket tensioner as it costs $68 for a genuine mitsu 1g tensioner from rockville mitsubishi and a little less from jnztuning.

i actually did order one from a mitsu dealership local that has the dsmtuners dicount as well. i guess i misheard the dealership when i thought they said that they did not have the tensioner but had the lever arm. but it was the other way around. i needed it immediately and i saw that slowboy had oem ones. but yeah..i was unpleasantly surprised. time to call them back. hopefully i wont be charged the 20% restocking fee since the item was not as advertised
