i have a question, when i take a left turn with not much acceleration it makes a clicking sound? maybe a CV joint?

could be that or a bearing.

drive down the road and swerve back and forth. if you here a loud whirring noise when you swerve to the left then its a bearing.

i have done that, its more of a rapid clicking sound then a whirrling sound. if i go slow and turn left and give it no gas, it goes click click click , but then if i give it gas and repeat that, im pretty positive i do not hear any clicking.

i have the same thing going on in my car i turn one way and it goes click click click from what sounds like the tire area and when i turn the other way there is no sound. havent tried to figure it out but im pretty certain its the cv joints

Its the CV joints most likely. You can check to see if its the bearing by jacking the car up, and holding the wheel at the top and bottom of the tire, then trying to push and pull alternately on the top and bottom of the tire. If it moves, the wheel bearing is bad.

This is more of a test for a tie rod end or ball joints if there are any movement. Your problem is your cv axle, check to see if there are any tears in the rubber boots.

If you were testing the tie rod you would move it side to side, seeing as how the tie rods control movement of the wheels in that direction. You should have no movement whatsoever top to bottom. And considering if your ball joints were bad enough that you had movement top to bottom like that, you have way other serious problems to worry about. Also, considering how the hub attaches to the strut by means of two bolts on a 1g, and then the ball joint for the lower control arm, it would have to be seriously messed up for you to get movement that way, and you would have horrible tire wear. The quickest way to check for a bad bearing is like that. Not to mention, when they go, they sound like a bunch of marbles in a can no matter if you are going straight or turning.

Yeah, definitely sounds like a CV axle. As GSTRyder said, check for any tears in the boots. If there's no tears, it might be worth pulling the boot off and checking the condition of the grease and other parts inside.

yes i have rips in the boot, actually its more like its completely ripped off... :( so theres no grease in there.. haha anyways, anyone know where to order a CV joint?

oh and one more thing.... i have uneven wear on both front tires but on the inner part.. anyone know what that could be about?
