clicking sound

when im backing up, i can hear all sorts of noise.

When backing up strait, i can hear a constand clicking noise coming from the rear of the car.

Sometimes when backing up, i also hear a loud squealing noise

any idea what these noises are?

Does the noise get worse when you turn sharply and accelerate?

Possibly a wheel bearing...? Not too sure.

I had a 'clicking' sound and counldn't pinpoint where it was coming from, it turned out to be a deteriorating CV joint/axle. After I replaced it (driver's side, front) the clicking stopped.

I'd bet your rear brake pads are about bazootied. My '94 sounded like I was backing over an elephant's pud.

Not likely to be rear CV joints on a FWD car.
