Cleaning the oil pickup screen

I have the oil pan off. How do you all go about cleaning the oil pickup? Mine seems to be pretty clean. I used some brake clean on it without taking it off....was hoping that was enough.

Thoughts?

I soak them in purple power than rinse it out with a power washer.

Not a bad idea...I have some purple power laying around...but no pressure washer.

Lol .. I used BBQ lighter fluid and a tooth brush to clean one. Came out great.

O-ring pick for the screen and a parts washer worked good for me.
