Whenever my car is accelerating or anything like that my car makes this click clack noise. I dont know what it is but my friends say that it may be the valves. Any input would be much appreciated.

Could it be described as a constant ticking sound? If so you have lifter tick, but dont worry its not bad or harmful to anything, its just an annoying sound.

turn your car on, open your hood, and listen near the valve cover, if it sounds like its coming directly under your valve cover, and its a tick, tick, tick, tick continously very rapidly...then it is indeed lifter tick. let us know where the sound is coming from, and we can help from there...

ok the clicking is deffinitly under the valve cover. Im going to put the sound on my computer from my phone so if u want to hear it give me your AIM sn.

Check your oil lately? also how about your timing belt? Not sure exactly what it is , you'll have to help , does it make a pop- corn noise , or more like a constant ticking . Does your car accellerate like usual? When you press the accelarator , does it make this noise louder or is it constant . does your car hesitate or turn off when your at idle ?

I just changed my oil with synthetic mobil1 10w-30. The noise is deffinitly a constant ticking and my car does accelerate normally. The noise gets heavier as i accelerate, but no my idle is fine and turns on and off fine. Think its lifter tick?

yes, a set of revised lifters off of slowboyracing.com runs about 150$. as far as i know, the ticking does not rob engine power, its just an annoyance.
