I am looking to power my gauges differently. My cigarrete lighter has a blue and white wire,a green and white wire, and a green and red wire. Wich of these can i use for 12v power and wich one can I use for illumination?

im not sure on the wire colors on a 1g
but the wire that goes to the wall of the lighter is a ground

the wire that goes to the very bottom of the lighter is the switched 12v, thats what is used for the power for the gauge

the other 2 wires are the ilumination wires but make sure the polarity is correct or when you have the dimmer set to the brightest setting the gauge light will be dimmed

if you have a test light or multi meter its not to hard to figure out
