a_scobel: nice job that looks pretty damn good.

That alas corp mirrorchrome paint $1200 a gallon OMG wow. How many gallons does it take to paint a car?

i think it takes about 5 quarts to paint a full car, not 100% on that tho. thats 1 and 1/4 gallons btw. reminds me of the old hotwheels cars you dip in icewater and watch change colors

edit, on the site it says the following

"• While a 2 oz. Kit may not seem like much, it should cover a lamp or small appliance (The 2oz. Kit is designed for evaluation purposes).
• With an 8 oz. Kit you can easily complete a cruiser or a sportbike.
• With a Pint Kit you should be able to cover a small vehicle.
• Using a Quart Kit you should expect to cover a small to mid-size vehicle. "

another edit

Quart KIT $1749

as far as the legality goes, this cannot be illegal... i mean, ive seen at least 20 tankers in my lifetime with a completely chromed tank. if they are allowed on the road, i think a car should be. especially with a tube like tanker, where it would reflect 360 degree radius, but since they are laying down, it reflects about 300degree radius and blinds the shit out of me.

I guess the only way of knowing whether or not getting your vehicle painted chorme is legal to drive on the streets would be to ask the police. I'll have to call my local police and find out. I'll post back with an answer to let you people know if it's legal or illegal for on the streets.

make sure, if they say its illegal, you mention the tanker trucks with chromed tanks roaming the highways day and night.

doesnt matter.

if you get pulled and in court, you cant say, "If he can do it why cant iiiiiii"

it doesnt work. :(

jk.

well i didnt mean it like that, but maybe there would be different rules for tankers. why would major companies disobey the law? :

:( Well........... I haven't heard from the po-po for over a month with a reply as to weather you can legally drive a car on the road that is painted chrome. :| :thumbdown So since I don't have a car/dsm :thumbdown :( or live within reasonable walking distance from the po-po I can't give you people a reply as to whether or not it is legal to drive around in a chome painted car.
