I searched but couldn't really find anything so I was just wondering how much small chips in compressor wheels really effect anything. I have a Big 16G that is about to get a rebuild and it has some very small chips in the taller fins. I would like to replace the wheel but I'm on a pretty tight budget here since I just replaced the head to a jumping time so if I don't really need to replace it I'd rather not. Thank you for your time.

Replace the wheel if it has chips in it.

I see 16g wheels on ebay quite a few times, maybe you can look there and get lucky. I think one ended today and it was at like 20 something the last time i checked.

Yeah i see those wheels on ebay too but most of them are Subaru 16G wheels that flow like 520 CFM instead of 550 like a Big 16G.
