Chipped Crank Pulley

My crank pulley has some chips around the outer edge that were removed when taking the engine out. Is this enough to throw it off balance should I consider buying a new one? The pulley had 80k on it. If so, is this pulley that jacks transmissions sell an OEM pulley because it seems to be very well priced compared to other places I've looked: Jacks Transmissions LLC — Crank Pulley

The few small chips should be alright as long as they don't extend into an area where they could ruin a belt.

Pics would help, but I say chips are bad... replace it. Chips can turn in to cracks. The pully is supposed to be balanced and missing metal will screw with that. And with 80k on it, it's probably coming due anyways. I dont know about the one at Jack's but make sure you buy OEM and stay the hell away from "doorman" brand.

I would just replace it, not because of the chips but since it has 80k/18 years on it, the rubber is pretty brittle and it won't be a surprise if it starts to split soon.

OEM (not oem replacement), Fluidamper or ATI are the only ones you should run.
