checked fuses and tail lights still dont work?

i was driving home from the DSM meet in panama city the other day and i turned my lights on and i found that my guage lights were not working. i didnt think much of this untill i got pulled over by a Mr. police man for not having tail lights :thumbdown . so i checked all my fuses and all seem to be good. i have no idea what the problem is. if you have ANY info it would be great.

By all fuses, you mean the 10 amp fuse in your engine bay also? If thats not it, check or replace your relay labeled "Tail".

by fuses i ment relays also. sorry for not stating that earlier. i replaced the head light relay with the tail light one and it worked so the relay is still good. i checked the guage fuse under the dash and thats still good. im completly stumped with this one. im taking apart my dash right now trying to find out what it is.
