recently i had to jump my 95 talon and before the dash lights lit up but since they havent turned on, my warning lights turn on stiill but none of the gauge faces are lit also none of my hvac controls light up either and my tail lights work so its not that fuse. Then when i tried to install a radio it had no power but i replaced the radio fuse and still nothing. Are there any fuses or relays that would affect both of these? any help would be appreciated as this is my first dsm

The internal lights fuse commonly controls the radio/dash lights and internal lights. Do your footwell lights turn on when you open the door?

If this helps at all.... Check fuse 5 in the engine compartment fuse box. If I remember correctly it is a FLF (Female Terminal Fusible Link.) Fuse. You can get them at Autozone but do yourself a favor and go to a junk yard and pull them off of a car there.

I don't see any blown and Idk if I'm just looking at the diagram wrong but my fuse box dosent look like that to me and no my footwell lights don't turn on

Its def the internal lamps fuse, does your box look like any of the ones in this thread?

HERE

Its gotta be atleast one of those, come back with which one it is, and I can tell you which fuses to check. If you replace the fuse, and still nothing, its gotta be bad wiring somewhere, but kinda doubt that.

For the lights it could also be a blown dimmer. For testing temporarily ground the dimmer's black-yellow wire to see if dash lights go on full.

And the radio power must not be connected to the dimmer's black-yellow wire (not a true power source).

Yea as you dim the lights the Black/Yellow wire becomes 12v+ too. So if you connected your radio to that you might have fried out something.

Also, easier to just do this. Take a picture of your fuse box in a way that we can see your fuses. The one under the hood.

Can anyone help me with where a thread on how to post pictures is located and I also tested the radios harness for power yesterday and it's getting power and the radios good to but still nothing
