I got bored and decided to polish my manifold. Its a sfp t3 from start to finish.

Did the wastegate runner break off and need to be rewelded, or was that weld always that messy?

I was thinking the same thing. That's a lot of weld!

It cracked, the weld is a little rough but havent had any problems after that. Plus its just temporary for now.

Looks good man, you should put up pics up your turbo you polished if you haven't already. (I'm rarely on here so I haven't looked for it)

All this work has been done with in 2 days. Took alot of time, but worth it. It also my first time ever polishing.

Are you pretty satisfied with the SFP manifold? I had one at my shop that I had never used, and recently my buddy tried using a Turbonetics-style cast T3 manifold with his GT35R and it hit the block, so I traded him for the SFP tubular.

Just wondered how well it performed.

It works perfectly now. But the only problem I had was the crack by the wastegate. I fixed it and ever since then I havent had any problems. I actually had a dnp manifold and I had the same problem with the turbo hitting the block. Thats why I went with the SFP.
