Looks great from the outside doesn't it? Look deeper.

Is that NOT a copy of a V-trim compressor? I recall reading plenty of threads on here poking fun at the V-Trim with proof to show that it barely outflows a 16G....so what is this turbo equivalent to, a Ball Bearing 16G?

How can they sell this turbo labeled as a "GT3076R" copy and it's obviously not even close? If that's the case, look for me to start buying and rebuilding 13G's and selling them as 20G's.

A 54mm inducer and a 70mm exducer compressor doesnt even come out to 52 trim as claimed . However, the compressor and turbine diameters listed is very much like the gt3071R.

The v trim flows over 50 lbs/min.

Interesting. How come so many V-Trim users aren't getting great results? Not enough boost to support the wheel maybe? It seems the guys who are running 15-20psi on their V-trims are wishing they stuck with a 16G.

My point exactly. I'm wondering if the thing is even a ball-bearing center housing, or if that's a huge lie too.

If you look into it, the same seller is listing the same turbo as both a GT3071R AND a GT3076R. I wonder if they have the power to make 14B's that double as a 16G?

Yep, V-trim users do not seem to get to the maps acclaimed potential. Some v-trim somewhere flows that much because of the map. But considering the "lean" on the map, surge is an issue from my take on the poor performance. You have to be flowing over 30lbs/min at 20psi to stay out of surge. And I've seen cars show only 30ish lbs/min at 20 psi with a t3 turbine wheel at 4000rms. I do think the Vtrim needs a bigger turbine wheel or at least a bigger turbine housing than what way too many run. It is a surge prone wheel so you have to have lag. And that doesn't settle well with the masses. The v-trim is better as a mild upgrade to a cyty.

But back on topic, ebayers like this should have their account suspended. Isn't there a way to notify ebay? Would they take any warnings about a seller to heart? Is their own behind already covered for jokers like this? Is being an educated consumer the only defense against this? . . .
