Your car looks great! It kind of reminds me of my old ESi

Wow, I actually like it. Since these cars have the black top it looks surprisingly good with a black hood and hatch. How much lighter is it than the stock hatch?
. Im still debating on taking the spare out because its a good amount of weight but if i get a flat that cant be fixed with fix-a-flat then im stuck.
so hopefully it'll work for the time beingPersonally, i find more use from a carbon fiber hatch on a FWD car than i do a carbon fiber hood. That's just me though. You want some weight on your front end to weigh your car down to keep grip and traction. Don't you?
but to those with awd, it's all good. rock on
who really needs it anyway
Thanks guys! Yea i really want the aerocatch pins and i was going to get some when i got the hatch but the guy who had them said he had nothing but problems with them so im going to look into it some more.
As far as future plans i have some more engine work and suspension work to do but exterior wise i need a new front bumper windshield driver side weather stripping and new window tint. After i got my major performance mods done then i want like a minor/clean bodykit or maybe widebody.

Would love to buy a CF hood for my 1g but I don't feel like goin 30 mph with my face pressed to the windsheild in the country for fear of hitting a deer

That's what the engine and transmission are for.
i hate the fact that not only do i have to watch the road, i have to watch the ditch too

Nice, job. It would better with aerocatch pins. Cool, cf hatch I want one but with lexan glass.
