now im maxing the injectors out right? im running 17psi
just so you know i have to add 22% to the high setting on safc at the 5k 6k range just to get it like that.

its not rewird just a 255, i take a boost leak can cause higher idc right?
does it sound right maxing out the 510s at 17 or 18 psi, and its creeping so i cant turn the boost down

Holy crap! What happened?

The initial log you posted looked good except for a few counts of knock here and there. What changed so drastically from the first to the second log? Let's back this truck up so that we don't miss anything :thumb:

1. What is the gap on your plugs?
2. What heat range are you running?
3. Did you do a leak test?
4. What are you high throttle Ne points set at?
5. Where do you have your TPS trigger points set?

Also, please list your high throttle correction values for each Ne point.

Sorry for slamming you with questions, but I don't want us to miss anything.

yea something is definitly up

go back to the way you had your first log and do a couple of runs to make sure its constant.

THEN, just add the fuel up top after 6000. and when you log just record Timing, Airflow, RPM, and in your case Injector Duty. THATS IS. all that other stuff is crudding up the simplicity of street tuning and reading your logs.

It looks like you're getting a hesitation after 5000 (once you hit max airflow) and then again after 6200 (injectors maxed) on your second log. On the first log, you have the same dips in RPM, but they occur a bit later (5600 rpms and 6400 rpms, respectively). You still seem to need more fuel.

see see!!
and they said i was crazy to go with 560 injectors!!!!

Fools!! All of them, FOOLS!!!!

i dont know what i changed sorry guys.

i have bpr7es gaped at .27 i had a leak at the tps, but fixed it, now the tps on the logger is at 10%.

ne 1 2 3 4 4.5 5 6 7

high 1 3 9 12 14 14 14 10 all adding fuel

low -1 0 0 1 0 -2 -3 -5

also the safc read 10% less throttle than what the logger is reading

i remeber what i did now, i adjusted the base timing it was at 2 degrees, so i put it up to 5 degrees.

well i just put race gas in 110, and no knock at 21 psi. so i guess i need bigger injectors. i was thinking like 660 inj. what do you guys think?

For sure 650s are the perfect size for the e316g.I think it might be a little harder to tune the safc with them but you will have plenty of fuel now.

The o2 seems pretty consistent, and the timing is just because you need to add more fuel in those two ranges: 4700-5200rpm and 6000-redline

Sorry to threadjack but with his first log how can you tell he needs to add fuel in those ranges? Thanks for the help.

If you go back and look at the log, you can see he has some small amount of knock in that range in the powerband and so adding fuel is one way to eliminate knock. When tuning you want to tune for maximum power with no knock. :thumb:
