Checking your Oil Dipstick, Gas Cap and Charcoal Cannister would be a good start. Vapors could be escaping and this will cause your CEL to comeup. Theres also a possibility of an Electronic Malfunction.

If worse comes to worse, Im afraid your gonna have to hand over cash for some Diagnostics :(
Around here, they charge anywhere between 70-90.00 CDN

Mine comes on and goes all the time but thats because i have a no cat on my car. Alot of the time it happens after you get gas.

Thats the diagnostic code decoder LOL
Flip the key 5 times to the on position 1(on off) 2(on off) 3(on off) 4(on off) 5(on and leave it on),but dont turn the engine on during any of these flips, and then watch your cel light flash, read the codes, and then you'll know whats up.
I can see you used to own a 2G NT ;) (Its also in your gallery).

This doesn't work on the 2G Turbo cars. They use a different ECU. You can't pull the codes using this method. That method you posted above only works on the 2G NT cars (with the 420A).

i agree. Theses are mor ecommon causes. Start simple and pocket friendly. If you cant find the problem Autozone does free scanning. The codes will tell you all.
