For some reason the alternator doesnt want to charge, i did the saturn swap about 6 months ago and all has been fine. now all my dash lights are on and alternator is not charging. while going down the road sometimes the lights on dash will blink. Possibly a short somewhere? because when the lights go off im assuming it starts to charge.
I replaced all the wiring ends at the alternator. Can i just run a wire from the stud of the alternator to the battery to bypass any car wire and see if that fixes it?

Forgot to add it will charge when my rpms are 4-5k but below that or above that no charging. Voltage regulator maybe?

Sounds like a problem with the voltage regulator or the windings on the Alternator...sorry...
