charcol canister removal?

Ok.I took out my charcoal canister.My question is what i have to do with The hard line that comes through the firewall?

just ripped mine out too. Doesnt that one come from the fuel tank? think its a vapor vent if im remembering correctly, but i could be wrong

That is a vent to your tank. I put a little mini air cleaner on mine.

The charcoal canister is there to prevent vapor lock that can be induced by adding fuel to the tank forcing vapor into the fuel lines. most people seem to just remove the hard lines all together, it would be prudent to not destroy the entire system.

so, cap it with a small filter? ive heard you dont want that venting into the engine bay tho. maybe ill run a lil extra hose so it can go further back and zip tie it up somewhere. id hate to get fumes coming in the cabin.
