Charcol Canister

Hey guys when i purchased my 1g I was looking at the carcol canister and realized the lines were not connected. I decided to just remove the canister but am not sure how to go about it. Wich end do I cap off? and wich line do i tuck underneath? The one to the canister is the one i tuck underneath right?

Yeah tuck that one down it is your fuel tank vent line, it never hurts to put a breather filter on this. The other line is for vac so either trace it back and cap it off or do like i did and do a vac delete! Looks a lot more clean, but make sure you do a EGR block off plate.

So when removing my canister I have to block off the egr as well? because I kind of wanted to keep the EGR.

No, you don't. I don't have a canister but have my EGR... unless 1Gs are different.

u can keep your egr and delete ## canister cause we do it everytime we get a new 1g. then later on we will make another block off plate and delete it.

What about the opposite? Deleting the egr but keeping the charcoal canister?
I want to keep my canister because of the lines that go to the tank. I don't know how to properly delete them. So I'll just keep the can but I do want to delete the egr. Since i might go with a smim in the future.

I have thought of deleting both,but I believe that the EGR does help.
