changing tranny fluid

where is the drain plug, is it the big bolt on the bottom left of the trans, and if so how am i suppossed to get it out, its so big none of my sockets fit it and i cant get at it with an adjustable wrench

Its that big bolt between the red circles. You will need to get a socket for it. Just go buy one and charge your friends to use it when they need to change there fluid. :shhh:

I have the fluid and the socket the problem is someone used an impact wrench on it last time and I can't break it loose now :rolleyes:
 
Always remove the FILLER plug FIRST on a gearbox.

It's a real nuisance trying to refill a transmission through the drain hole. Worst part is damage to the door paint as you tilt it onto its back.

ROFL. I hate it when that happens. If the car did good then I scratch its belly till it shakes a tire.
