Hey guys,
So I finally got my car tuned fairly well in the vacuum cells. A few nights ago, I started to tune for boost. Everything was going great, and we ended the night on a strong pull with zero knock. When I parked the car, it was about 40 degrees here in Nebraska. The next morning, it was about 40 degrees again, so I decided to take the car to work. Everything was as smooth as could be. But when I got off work, the temperature had risen up to 79 degrees. I could barely get the car to start and idle. I noticed that I was running completely lean, and my intake temps were higher than usual due to the drastic change in temp. In order to get home, I just richened my whole map by about 20%. This seemed to bring AFRs back to the ballpark.
Now, the temperature has stayed up. Mid-70s during the day and 60s at night.
The car starts fine, but won't idle at all. If I lean it out, the idle clears up and it sounds just like normal. But my AFRs are pegged lean. If I richen things up, my rpms drop and my car struggles to stay alive.
Any advice would be much appreciated! Thanks guys.
