Intercooler Temperature Meter

This site may earn a commission from merchant affiliate links, including eBay, Amazon, and others.

I'd sent that company an e-mail several weeks ago asking what temp ranges this meter reads to, but no answer.

I'd hope it would at least go up to 350F (400F even better) for those running higher boost levels (i.e. pre-intercooler).

Other than that this unit looks pretty sweet, though which it had some type of output for which to datalog (yes I'm picky ;) ) :dsm:

Price-comparing your other options:
Westach ~$210 = gauge, (2) $40 senders, lighting kit
AutoMeter ~$270

Both of which are analog and neither displays temp differences.

I currently have the Nordskog Air Temp gauge, but the probe tends to read the UIP temp, not the air temp within so do not recommend that as an option unless mounted away from the engine compartment.

BTW.. I've seen this Digital gauge for as low as $235 at a Mini Cooper retail site, so if it does work, is IMO a very competitive option for us non EE-types :thumb:
