I am trying to get my fp exhaust manifold ceramic coated in my local area. So far all the quotes I have received is $175 - $100. I need to know if these prices are reasonable or excessive? should I go the spray can route? Thanks.

I would check most ceramic places there are many out there they run about the same price if you can get it cheaper go for it, that seems cheap to me, if spray worked many wouldn't spend the money coating waste in my opinon getting my fp coated and all hotside items.

I would recommend Tirado Custom Coatings for ceramic work. I've had Justin at Detective Coating do some powder coating for me but not sure if he does ceramic or not. But my exhaust manifold I had Tirado do years ago and it's still going strong.

I think the op meant to type 200.

I would check with detective coatings. Justin is a great guy to deal with and they do great work at a great price.

Justin also has prices up on the site. Looks like he is 90 for stock manifold and 130-150 for tubular style. Maybe the FP manifold counts as stock style?

I'm assuming that's supposed to be $175-$200? I had my FP turbine housing ceramic coated at bonehead performance. Price listed for a 4 cyl cast exh man is $80. Obviously you'd have to pay shipping and tax though. Link

Actually $100-$175. You are right about shipping, by the time I'm through paying shipping & tax it might add up to $175+. I recently spoke with fp & they said the manifold that I have is ceramic coated. Got in on a group buy yrs ago, it's a light Bronz looking color. Thanks[DOUBLEPOST=1412218757][/DOUBLEPOST]
