Centerforce vs Fidanza

Hey, burnt out the clutch trying to do 4wheel burnouts in the Talon, so I'm probably looking at replacing the flywheel + clutch. Just wondering, is a flywheel included in a clutch kit? And what works best for 4 wheel burnouts - Fidanza or Centerforce?

Get a Centerforce clutch and save your "4 wheel burnouts" for the winter months But wait, you don't have our Ontario harsh winters out in BC.

The only clutches I've seen myself that come with the flywheel are the Exedy clutches. Probably more out there, but I don't think the Centerforce's or anything come with them.

Well, I'm not sure what centerforce has to offer, but if all you want to do is break all four loose, Fidanza's 5.4 clutch will probably do it, assuming you have enough power. It's a 6 puck (unsprung hub) with sintered iron pads. It's basically unstreetable, but will hold almost anything you throw at it, with no slip.

All I'm seeing for Centerforce is the Dual Friction. That clutch is not designed for launching, so it won't hold to the abuse of your asshattery.

Do your car a favor though, sell it to someone who won't destroy it by being an immature jackass.

Your going to have to give up a huge amount of driveability if you want a clutch that wont give out. Like unsprung disc with some sort of super agressive material which would make it chatter like crazy. I personally agree with every one else...STOP BEING A JACKASS!!!

A flywheels isn't included it the clutch kit, only pressure plate, disc, throw bearing, and alignment tool.

Centerforce clutch, it's not for burning out or any other types of abuse. The dual friction clutch torque rating is low and takes a long time to cool down. I'd recommend ACT, Fidanza, or Clutchmaster.

Sinter iron disc will break the rest of unmodified transmission and drivetrain.

Yeh, after talking with a few friends I'm thinking about just installing a stock clutch from Lordco as the transmission is completely unmodded, but how much would it cost to upgrade the tranny?

$700-$2500 depending what is necessary for your car.

Yeh, wouldn't imagine you could just upgrade the tranny without doing the stage 0-1 upgrades first either eh? I'm going to have to hold off on the upgrades until I'm back from the navy. Thanks for the help.

You can get the tranny rebuilt as strong as you want. You don't need to wait for any upgrades.
