This month i will be instaling a new clutch kit for my 2g GST. I will be looking for 350 to 450 whp with the new setup i will install this month. I was thinking on buying the act 2600 kit like most people do in this forum but i found a great deal on a center force dualfriction kit.

What is the pros and cons on this kit over the other one?

Note:
i will also install fidanza flywheel and FP flywheel bolt kit and OEM Throu out bearing.

I didn't break my dfcf in as good as I could and it slipped once. But I forgot to put my splash shield on and it was raining. So... my bad.:coy: It hasn't slipped once since. When you do a launch rev it up and just drop the clutch dont let it out slow. I have read that the cf is alot easier on the car itself. Alot of engineering has gone into it. It feels like stock but can support alot of power. Also their tech support is great. My friend had tons of problems with his do to a leaky rear main seal, and cf fixed the clutch and beefed it up a bit. Now he is breaking it in for real this time. If it is not gnarly enough I think they can make you a DFX disk for you.

I almost went with the act but they seemed really harsh.

If I were to do it again I think I would look into a twin disk, and be done with it.

Ive had TOB failure on my ACT, OEM one and an ACT one. Also the ACT clutch's dont last that long. They are great but after about a year you will need a new one. I highly recommend a twin disc also if you can afford it. Last way longer. Here is what im going with.

This clutch set up is just awesome. Pricey but worth it.

I went today to a local mopar store and i bought the tTOB and all the seals. I Asked for price for the Pibot and fork and its $9 pibot but they didint have one and $74 for the fork. When you mean they go out of spec, are the two of them or the pibot only? I think $74 is kind of high for me at this time.

I could buy the pibot, but how important is the fork? Can i keep my stock one or should i buy it know ?

Ya that's kind of a high price, most online stores charge some where in the $65 dollar range for both parts. They are reccomended to be changed b/c they can break on higher milage dsm's.
