I am completly new to the modification world. All I know is that when I bought my eclipse I was told I would need a new clutch. So I read up on some clutchs and decided since I have a GSX, the centerforce DF would be a good, cheap clutch (Read I am new to modding, not driving). So I figured the flywheel is right there, I might as well change it. So I bought a Fidanza Alluminum one online made for my 98gsx, and got my Clutch which is also made for my car.

Now onto the real part, according to the documentaion I received with my clutch, my flywheel has to have a correct "step". WTF is that? I am not putting the clutch in myself, I am letting someone else put it in, but will they be able to just bolt on the new Flywheel and install the clutch? I am confused, any help would be greatly appreciated.

Cliffnotes: Bought new clutch and flywheel, don't know what a clutch step is or whatever, will my new flywheel bolt onto my crank and will my new clutch mate with this new flywheel with no problems?

Thank you for telling me that. Off to go get my Fidenza flywheel and CFDF clutch put in.
