CEL problem

At any given time my check engine light will come on for 3 seconds then turn off. It could be 20 times in a 5 minute drive or once a week. Been goin on for 2 months. Car has never stalled from it and shows no signs of issues...I'm at a loss.

There is no code.

Anyone had a similar problem?

try to get it to some on and have a scanner ready so you can scan it with the cel illuminated?

Do these cars store codes if they've triggered the light even if the light isn't on anymore?

Scanner will not read a code

Mine was doing this a lot off and on. It eventually started to stay on and now read my barometric pressure sensor. Have not been able to fix it yet though, but maybe its a sensor coming in and out as it is going bad.

Sounds about right. Probably a shorted wire or a dirty connection at the sensor. Guess I'll have to wait too.
