You don't even have to go to that extent. Just lift up the yellow plug/fuse in the fuse box in the engine bay. I believe its for interior lights and radio. You can't miss it, its the big yellow one on the bottom left, with 2 10amp fuses. Lift it up, wait a few secs, put it back and voila.

I second this, its a lot faster than disconnecting the battery
