CEL After Turboback Install

Installed a tsudo turbo back today on my 1995 gst and about an hour into driving it, the CEL light comes on. How do you go about fixing this with a catless downpipe?

actually had a muffler shop install it. I looked under there and it was screwed into the pipe, but dunno if it's connected, i'm sure they didnt unhook the connector, but i'll check. This did the same thing on my 96 mustang gt when i had a offroad H pipe on it. Any other ideas?

Well if the o2 sensor is connected, then pull the code.

Do you still have a cat? If not, that'll cause the code.

How do you go about fixing this with a catless downpipe?

Were good readers around here. No cat = CEL once in a while, get used to it. Just clear it and drive it won't come on that often.

hey ozzeran I picked up one of those tsudo catbacks also to go with my 3" downpipe, did yours have a flat spot in the rear section before the muffler, they told me it was normal for the GST model to make it fit. Also did it taper down at the flange that connects to the gasket? on mine the inlet it a little smaller than my downpipe outlet and it creates a lip.

back on topic, I gig the o2 wiring fix dsmjim mentioned and havent had any other problems. good luck
