Hey,
So Ive only had this car about 4 months and now I'm thinking the CAS, and or cylinder head may be from a second Gen.
Can you guys tell from these pics?

Late 1G Blacktop CAS, 1G Intake manifold, 1G thermostat housing, really good chance it's a 1G Head.
OK, well that a relief frankly 👌
But why would I have a late 1g CAS in a 91, any complications there?

There are three different kinds of 1G CAS. The 90 Optical Green Top with hardwared pigtail, the 91-92 Optical Green Top with a harness connector and the 93-94 Hall Effect Black Top with a harness connector. The black top uses magnets and a hall effect sensor, while the green top uses an LED optical sensor and a slotted rotating disc, the last two are interchangeable. It's suggested that the later black top CAS is more accurate but what's for sure is that magnets and hall effect sensors last longer than LEDs. The 90 CAS are unique and require modifications to use on a 91+ or to swap in the later version on a 90.

The bigger question is how much else of your car isn't original?
