Carbonfiber roof?

I've never seen a bolt-on roof, either, but I've owned both a car with a roof that was part of a stretched monocoque chassis (a 1997 Talon TSi AWD ... you may have heard of such) and a car with a roof that was just an aluminum skin stuck onto the top of a box (a 2008 Evo GSR). Just about all makers have or are switching to the latter. It's easy to tell. If the car has those things that might seem to be rain gutters, but on top about an inch in from the edge, then it's a skin-on-box roof.
