put on new head gasket now my car wont start for some reason, everything is connected. my friend took out my turbo timer and cut the grey, white, and black wire. Im not sure if that would cause anything. Also i cleaned everything with pink stuff and water before i put the car back together, i have done that before and everyhting was fine but does anyone think maybe the CAS is messed up? i changed the coil pack and transistor pack and still nothing. and i know my timing is dead on. if anyone can help that would be greatly appriciated, car is a 91 tsi with dsm link

I would start with the wires that were cut, they go to the ignition and could be the problem since you say your timing is dead on coil pack and power transistor are new its either that or the cas.

Time for a temp sensor? Mine went bad while doing my HG on my talon had to get a new one before it would start there very picky about that.

I would check to see if the cas is out 180* like mentioned. What did you torque the head down to?
