Ok, I put on a new head gasket and arp studs, and then re assembled the engine according to my haynes manual. Had alot of trouble timing the engine cause i couldn't find the crankshaft sprocket timing mark, but i found a mark and timed it thanks to some people on this forum.

Well I tried starting my car, would turn over but wouldnt start, and it backfired once, So I found a connector unplugged and connected it back. Then found out that I didnt plug up the PCV Valve hose. Then I checked to make sure I had air, spark, and fuel. All are working fine. compression was 180 across the board. What could my problem be?

Am I out of time? I dont know how it would be because wouldn't it have messed up the motor the first time I tried to start it? And I compression tested 180 across the board way after I tried starting it a couple times

On my afc the battery volts would drop to like 10 when i tried to start it they stayed at about 12 volts so I got a charger on it right now. Any suggestions? THANK YOU

edit: Could it be my CAS?

yes I checked the sparkplug wires 100 times, and they are on correctly, and are getting spark.
Also, if it was out of time I wouldnt have good compression due to bent valves correct?

make sure that you bleed the lifters..

Can you please explain that? Because I also installed revised lifters too. Why will that make it not crank?

It will crank but the valves will all be open, it usually takes 1/2-1 hour for them be bleed or follow the vafq and bleed them before installing..If your compression is 180 after the install then the lifters should be OK.

so the lifters came oiled and such, so do I just supress it and lock it closed with a paperclip and fill it with oil then pump the oil out? Or since they came oiled will it crank after the car has sat a while maybe?

Ok now I let it sit all night. And when I try and start it, it sounds like its about to crank but it makes a spoing noise like a cartoon jumping on a pogo stick. And it really sucks down the battery voltage and makes all of the lights dim. We sprayed starting fluid and it would get to about 400 rpms before it would make that noise and drop back down. What is it?
