I picked up another DSM Sunday night, like 3 degrees out with the windchill, no problem starting right up. Drive the car to my mom's house ~1.5 hours. Go to sleep, wake up, start car, it doesn't hesitate for a second at ~10 degrees with windchill, start the ~3.5 hour drive home.
About an hour or so after we leave, my girl needs to go to the bathroom and we pull over at a gas station. Go in for 20min maybe, come out car won't start. I thought that maybe because the car had been sitting for a few months, the battery was no longer useable. Try jumping it, no dice. So I figured it was either the starter or the safety switch for the clutch though neither one made much sense. I didn't have the room to push start it cuz everyone and their brother was getting off the interstate due to an accident. I head back to my mom's, crash there that night.
We were gonna head back in the morning and push start it, get it home, fix the starter or whatever was wrong. So we head back to the gas station, I get in the car, and it fires right up without hesititon. I drive the ~2.5 hours home, pull into my apt complex, shut the motor off, and try to start it again.....and nothing. No click, no cranking, all the idiot lights come on when I turn the key, but nothing happens when I turn it to start. Any ideas on what's goin on with this thing would be greatly appreciated.
The car is a 1991 Eagle Talon N/A, 5spd, bone stock. Picked it up for a daily driver for when my motor swapped GS is down.
