Car wont shift into gears only one forward gear

my trans does into reverse and I beleive it stays in second gear and doesn't shift at all what could cause that it has manual shit body 175 hp in it

Could be internal damage or shifting linkage

You need to provide just a tad more information for anyone here to be helpful. My guess is that something's broken.

It could be a failed tcu, have you scanned the tcu for codes?

I'd get fluids out and change the filter and gasket for the tranny oil pan, check if it has any metal flakes or chips in it and post pictures here possibly
