im having a problem, just put the new tranny, clutch, and flywheel in my car, and it wont shift right. It will not go into 2nd gear unless you pump up the clutch a few times before, or rev the car before it goes in. Slave cylinder is adjusted right, and the clutch grabs good, but it just wont shift. just put in a act 2600 with a sprung 6 puck. Wont even shift at very low rpms, and i cant drive it. what could it be? could the master cylinder be causing this?

could possibly need a slave cyl extension rod my buddy had the same problem.

While this will bandaid the problem, it will not fix it. If all of the parts in the clutch system are up to snuff, you don't need an extended slave rod. There aren't too many parts in the system, so it's not too hard to trouble shoot. Make sure your MC isn't leaking, rebleed the slave, check your MC rod adjustment, see if that helps. If it doesn't, you may want to pull the transmission and check the clutch fork and pivot ball for wear. Finally, and lets hope this isn't the case, check for clutch pedal assembly play.

pivot ball was shimmed during the clutch job, slave was just bled, i dont understand, it just seems like its only 2nd gear that grinds, goes in pretty smooth in every other gear. reverse feels a little weird, but it just wont go into second without a fight
