Alright so I have done my research on other parts of the forums for the problem of having an eclipse not rev over 2k and it always comes back to the intake track, like it was stated in this topic
http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/newbie-forum/321390-help-car-wont-rev-past-2k.html

I did have my intake pipe blow off the car but I reconnected everything and checked all the connections and it seems everythings connected just fine but I am still stuck with this problem

do a boost leak test and check the coupler coming off the j pipe. If you have the time, take off all the couplers from your j pipe to the throttle body. Spray the insides with hair spray then put them back on before the hair spray dries. Wait 5 minutes for them to dry and you'll never have a coupler blow off again. Did this to my buddies 90 awd talon and it fixed the boost leak right up

i agree boost leak you did something wrong

I figured that because the car ran with some boost and atleast the sound of a BoV before I turned that car stock and had this happen, I will probably just start with taking all the couplers off and retighten them for the time being, If that doesn't work with a Boost Leak test then im stumped

Ive also had boost leak too before use t clamps it works a lot better than the regular clamps. Also make sure your bov is recirculated too :thumb:

I had the same problom i was driving home from the freeway.
Then i heard a huge POP! Then my car started doin the same thing.
i could barley get it home going 40.
It turned out to be the j-pipe disconnected :banghead:
Thanks for the Help!
