So with my recent rebuild Ive noticed that lately it seems if my car is not holding coolant. Every couple weeks the coolant light will come on, Ill fill it up and drive it and it will be fine, then it will come on again. the last few days it has been on and never overheated. then yesterday i drove it around and was at a buddys house parked on a hill and when i came outside there was a line of fluid that had came out of my car and ran down the hill a little. it was hard to determine where this came from because when looking at the motor it was coming from the right side of the turbo almost between the turbo and power steering/alternator spot. I put some more coolant in and drove around for maybe 20 minutes to run home and back. when i left later that night and parked in a different spot there was another stream of fluid. (coolant im guessing) so i went to take my lady home the coolant light on the whole time and constantly watching temp gauge. and it was fine the whole way there, until we got to her house and sitting in the driveway with the car ideling i noticed the temp gauge just started to go past normal so i shut the car off. and got out and heard some liquid dripping under the car. so i popped the hood but before i could determine where exactly it was coming from it stopped but i saw the all the coolant on the ground between the turbo and power steering. so i filled it up with more coolant (quite alot too) and drove home the light was still on but it held tempature okay. so any ideas to what could be going on here? thanks guys

You get a coolant tester that goes on the radiator cap and pressurizes the system which in your case would spew coolant out so you can find the leak.

Found the problem, it was on the water pipe going into the water pump right before it is a piece that runs off of that and I had it blocked off with a little rubber nipple. well the nipple cracked from the clamp im assuming, so i put a beefier one on there with a little rubber over the nipple so it doesnt pinch too hard.
