car wont fire only turns over??

Its a 1995 eclipse rs 253,000mi i put the car in the garage a couple days ago before snow and it ran as usual rough idle but it has been like that since i got it. I needed to use the battery out of it and when i put it back in the car would not start up again i checked if the fuel rail was getting pressure by pressing the needle in and it did, it didnt come back when the key was turned off then on again i though it would build that pressure back up before starting? so i held the needle in when turning over and gas would rush out as it was turning over. i also checked the pump with 12v and it worked. i checked the spark on all 4 plugs and it was good, now i just dont know what else to look for a relay maybe i dont have a ohm meter so i couldnt check them. any input ideas maybe??

Fuel pressure should be maintained for hours when turned off. Sounds like you have a leak. Check for a leaking fuel pressure regulator (won't keep pressure so it returns all fuel back to tank no matter what).

it would shouldnt he still be getting fuel pressure
