The car is a 92 gsx originally an auto car but I stole all the auto parts for my Laser so I put all the manual parts on this car. The car was sitting in a field for 5 plus years before a bought it and before a tore it apart I hooked a battery up to it to check compression and the motor turned over fine. Then I tore the whole car apart to clean and swap all the manual parts on to it. I'm not new to dsm's at all so I kind of know what I'm doing.
So everything is now back together but Im it wont crank over and Im getting no power to the fuel pump. There is power going to the starter and if I hook a twelve volt source to the signal on the starter the motor turns over fine. Ive checked voltage at the ecu for the stater signal wire and its getting 12volts when cranking but I also checked it on the starter and nothing. When switching to the manual I know you have to wire together the two black/yellow wires together to trick the ecu into thinking its in neutral. I did that.
I tried a spare ecu and also mpi relay, mpi relay will click when the key is turned and off shortly after the key is turned off, checked all fuses, checked some grounds and not to sure what to check next.
Any input on what could be the problem or how I could go about figuring it out would be great! Thanks in advance!
