I have been turning my key off and the car wont turn off... does anyone have any Ideas what the problem could be..

, it's probably not that but if you happen to be new with these cars and the car came with one, it would be a suprise to me too...Sorry if I misjudged you, good luck with your problems
i have a 6bolt but still i have the 95 tsi stock ignition.
or if its not that, it could be something up at the ignition cylinder bridging between the 12v constant and ignition wires. do you have some kind of remote starter in your car? if so it could have its own turbo timer function like mine does so even if you turn the greddy turbo timer off it will keep running and you wouldnt know. if this is the case hitting the brake SHOULD shut it off. hope that helps
