Ok I have a 96 Eclipse GTS Spyder and i know iam a nub,but i do know some, ok the car will start and run if i give it gas, and dies if i let off fast. Yes i know it mite be a vacuum or bust leek, but the stock boost gage is not working right, it is showing low boost, but the aftermarket boost gage is working fine and showing good boost. Now if iam right the stock boost gage is run off the computer, and sometimes the tecometer is not working and sometimes it is. So do you think it might be the computer ?

1. Glad to have you on DSMtuners

2. Use a spell check. I had to read your post 3 times before completely understanding what you were trying to say.

3. Do a boost leak test and check your vacuum lines as well.

4. Ignore your stock boost gauge, it is for show. Follow what your aftermarket gauge says.

5. I don't think anything is wrong with your computer.

Is your blow off valve recirculated? If not, you are venting metered air which the the car still thinks is in circulation, this messes with the air to fuel ratio. Venting you BOV is notorious for causing stalling when lifting off and idling(unless correctly modded).

no the blow off valve is not recirculating. but it use to idle OK. and it is dying :notgood: with out the blow off valve going off

That is your problem. EVERY time you lift off the gas and that throttle body closes, your BOV opens, even if it doesn't make a sound. Recirculate your BOV.

i would wait to see what the recirculating fitting does im pretty sure it will help a lot as i had the same problem with a talon when i did not recirculate my greddy

well i installed the kit, but now i have some short that is killing the battery :ohdamn: and the car well not jump start. so i just took it to the shop to find the short. I  it's not to bad

Im sure the shop will check but the stock 2g gauges run off the MAF if its damaged or unplugged or just bad it will cause two things the car runs horrible and the boost gauge reads uber low boost or not at all. We all know its inaccurate anyways but you get what im saying. I think the MAF is probably the issue. As for the dead battery etc. not so sure.

cool i did not know that the MAF was linked to the stock boost gauge not working right, i well look in to the MAF. Thanks man

ok i got my car from the shop, and it is dying win i let off the gas, and the shop is saying that my 850cc injectors are to big and are killing the car  is that true ?

OK never mind iam good now, I did some research, and i think i need a dsmlink or smaller injectors
