it doesent happen all the time but when im driving my car and i take my foot off the gas or press the gas pedal lightly the car shakes and studders also the gas light says on but the gas meter works (like that when i bought it) could this have somthing to do with it

Check vaccum hoses. And give the engine bay a runthrough to make sure no sesors have came unplugged. Is there a CEL?Then update again.

I have the same problem with my car right now and im trying to figure it out, i posted a thread on here called "chugging.." , read it, there are many good ideas on there that might help u out. I just gota check over on mine and c whats up with it

Check for vacuum leaks.

I agree with the vac leak check. I has a similar problem before, it turned out to be my ignition ignitor. I figured that out after replacing my coils, wires, plugs....haha...got to love dsm's.

If there isn't a check engine light on...make sure that the light even works. You can go to autozone or advance auto and have them run a diagnostic chck for free!

The engine light isn't on and it dosent seem to have a vaccum leak. I changed th ISC,TPS, and spark plugs the wires were fine. Dont know what it could be.

advance/autozone don't test non-OBD2 cars... and his 92 is OBD1
