2G Car stumbles on startup + CEL code p0446

I just put in my fuel pump today and when I start my car it only jumps to about 400 rpms for a second and then it goes up to a regular idle but its followed by a check engine light. While driving the car everything is completely normal. Any suggestions ?

I have nothing to check the code with Im probably going to take it to auto zone tomorrow.

every once in a blue moon I get a rough bumbly jerking start and runs like that till I get going, but CEL.

I am curious where this goes.

The code its throwing is p0446, evap system circuit malfunction. No idea how this happened after simply installing a fuel pump.

After a bit of research I found it has nothing to do with the fuel pump. I have a 97 gst and I put in a 98 ecu at the same time as my pump and that seems to be the issue. Since I have a 97 there doesnt seem to be an evap solenoid. Here is the post I found unfortunately there wasnt a solution.
