does anybody know a reputable DSM tuner/mechanic in the milwaukee area? i let the wrong guy touch my car and i'm unable to do this alone!

Why does it need to be a DSM mechanic? The 420a engine found under your hood can also be found in the dodge neon. What exactly is wrong with the car?

idles rough, stops at red lights, timing marks on cams are 180degrees off. worried if valves are bent.

If you are uncomfortable with the doing the work yourself then take it to a mechanic, and be prepared to shell out major bucks to get this fixed. Any mechanic should be able to fix this.

The first 420a I did was a PITA after working on so many 4g63's. But it is not THAT much different. If I figured it out, most shops should be able to .

Like I said before, the 420a engine is also found in dodge neons, so it is a very popular engine. Any real shop should have tons of experience with this engine. Just tell them that it has a neon engine.
